Medications Management

We have a dedicated Meds Management team who work alongside the team of Clinical Pharmacists, liaising with patients and pharmacies to ensure that medication changes or new prescriptions are coordinated, and handling any administration required.

Reception Team/Health Navigation

Here at Montpelier Health Centre we have a team of Health Navigators who are always here to help you, but at times the surgery and telephone lines are very busy.

Please be patient with us as we all try to deal with your requests for appointments, emergencies, results and all other enquiries. You can also view results and recent consultations using the NHS App to save you calling: NHS App and your NHS account – NHS

When speaking to our Health Navigators you will be asked for information about your condition, so they can effectively navigate you to the correct place – this could be a same day appointment, a pre-booked appointment, a telephone appointment or a pharmacy/other health care provider.

Administration Team and Medical Secretaries

The practice has a team of Administrators who process the majority of all incoming patient related correspondence.

Tasks include processing patient registrations and summarising medical records for over sixty new patients per week, scanning and coding all incoming hospital/clinical documents onto the electronic medical records as well as many other administrative tasks.

We also have a Finance Administrator who deals with patient related private income for the practice as well as the general practice finances.

With the practice having a high turnover of patients the administration office is a busy place to work with a friendly team.

Our Medical Secretaries deal with all your hospital appointment enquiries and referrals. They have a wealth of experience in general practice and ensure the communication between clinicians; you the patient and the secondary provider are maintained.
