Our Online Services

Urgent Appointments

Please let us know immediately if your call is an emergency.

To signpost you to the correct service for your condition you will be asked to provide the health navigator with as much information about your condition as possible. The receptionist will then be able to make you an appointment with the most suitable clinician to help you.

Annual Review Appointments

Booking in Advance

If your condition is non-urgent and you would like to book further ahead, appointments are available up to two weeks in advance. Alternatively, you can book an appointment using our Online Services.

Home Visits

Home visits are offered to those who are acutely or chronically housebound.

To arrange a home visit please try to phone the surgery before 10:30am. The health navigator will take your details, and a doctor will usually phone you back to discuss the problem before visiting.

The surgery has better lighting, medical equipment and tests to make the best assessment of patients. It is therefore in your best medical interests to attend the surgery if you can whenever you or someone you care for needs to see a clinician.

Telephone Consultations

Clinicians have some telephone appointment slots alongside their face to face appointments. These can be for problems/queries that you feel can be dealt with over the phone, rather than a face to face appointment.

If you have a preferred GP, you can request a telephone appointment with them, otherwise you will be offered the next available telephone appointment.

Chaperones

Chaperones are available to accompany you to any appointments at the health centre, please just ask a member of our health navigation team.

Emergencies

If you require medical assistance outside of our opening hours please contact NHS 111 by dialling 111 – calls to this number are free from both landlines and mobiles.

Interpreting

We use the telephone interpreting service, Language Empire, and also have an on site interpreter at Montpelier Health Centre two days a week.

If you require an interpreter, please tell us when booking your appointment so that we can ensure that arrangements are made.
